Account Executive
What is the purpose of this role?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible to directly drive top-line revenue growth by acquiring new customers and developing strategies to penetrate top tier accounts.

This role is ideal for a sales professional with proven experience in B2B sales, particularly within access control or related industries. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing complex sales cycles, and building trusted relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients.
Location: This will be a remote position targeting candidates based in a large metropolitan area near a major airport with the ability to travel up to 20-30% nationally.

What will you do?
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory or vertical.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients, including VP and C-level executives, to identify and address their business needs.
- Complex Sales: Manage long, value-driven sales cycles, including renewals, with a focus on creating detailed business cases that showcase ROI.
- Account Management: Create and implement effective territory and account plans, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges to provide relevant insights and solutions.
- Reporting & Tools: Utilize sales tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Outreach to manage pipelines, track performance, and provide accurate forecasts.
- Travel: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and on-site customer meetings as needed
What do you bring to DOOR?
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred) with 5+ years B2B or B2C sales with a proven track record of selling into Property Management companies, development companies and ownership groups.
- Sales Performance: Consistently met or exceeded quotas; President’s Club membership is a plus.
- Sales Expertise: Skilled in complex, multi-month sales cycles, renewals, and value-driven business cases. Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Executive Engagement: Success in selling to VP and C-level executives in mid-market and enterprise.
- Skills & Knowledge: Strong negotiation, demonstration, presentation, and deal-closing abilities; expertise in Multifamily industry trends, purchasing windows and timelines.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in Salesforce, GSuite.
- Travel: Ability to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and conferences. Estimated travel of 20-30% nationally.
