What is the purpose of this role?

As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), your purpose is to support the development and execution of our Financial Planning & Analysis function, ensuring DOOR’s leadership has the insights needed to drive strategic growth. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our no-code FP&A planning tool (Abacum), managing financial datasets, and developing dashboards that bring clarity to complex business data. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate across departments to support our operating financial plan, lead variance analyses, and prepare key materials for executive leadership. What is the role?

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for supporting the production and development of the company’s FP&A platform that includes financial reporting, budget management, financial modeling and ad hoc analysis.  The role collaborates with multiple business partners and leverages our FP&A planning tool, Abacum.

What will you do?

  • Support the production and development of the FP&A function
  • Lead the maintenance and development of our no-code FP&A planning software tool (Abacum), including oversight of financial datasets and dashboards.
  • Support the monthly/quarterly management reporting process that executive leadership relies on to make business decisions
  • Support the growth and maintenance of our operating financial plan through engagement with business leadership across all departments
  • Drive monthly financial reviews with business leadership to understand budget versus actual variances and update the financial plan
  • Report and analyze financial KPIs, working directly with the business to create actionable insights
  • Contribute to production of materials presented to the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors
  • Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis

What do you bring to DOOR?

  • 2+ years of professional experience post collegiate graduation
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in a professional and collaborative environment
  • Experience working with financial systems including Salesforce, NetSuite and financial planning tools
  • Experience updating and maintaining financial models
  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or a quantitative field
  • General attitude that embraces technology and business systems
  • Intermediate+ skill set in Excel, Gsheets and Powerpoint
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communicative skills a must
  • Self-starter and initiator
  • Ability to manage multiple detailed projects at the same time 
  • Must be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment

What is required (travel & physical requirements)? 

  • Occasional Travel to DOOR locations & conferences.
  • This role will be in-person part time (2-3 days a week)
